Lesters were proud to sponsor the Annual ‘Barry Rowley Memorial Golf Day’ which took place last weekend. Barry passed away 5 years ago after a long battle with cancer. Gareth Jones, one of our transport team, has worked hard with his family over the last few years and has raised over £10,000 for St Giles Hospice in Walsall in Barry’s memory.

St Giles Hospice are a fantastic charity who provide tailored care for those with incurable diseases as well as providing much-needed support not only to patients but their family and loved ones. They operate a 12-bed unit 24/7, 365 days a year. They rely heavily on donations and sponsorship.

This year, we are delighted to have helped Gareth raise over £2,000 for the charity. Edward Dennis designed and made up some boxes to use for hampers which were filled with goods for hampers as raffle prizes. It was a great day and we look forward to the next one.
